Casa Golondrinas 34
Location: Lagos del Sol, Cancún. Q. Roo.
Land: 533 m2 | 5,737 sqft
Construction: 380 m2 | 4,090 sqft
The Golondrinas 34 house was designed with the intention of creating a harmony between the public areas of the interior and the gardens that provide lighting, cross ventilation and visual finishing touches. The sobriety of colors and the use of few materials reflect a refined design, characterizing the project in general, seeking that the users and the vegetation give life to the house.
From the entrance through the hall, a rock can be seen at the back of the land as the head of the pool; moldy and with ferns, it gives the garden that sensation of humidity and the character of a unique element that was there before the construction of everything that surrounds it.
The kitchen as a social area is integrated with the living room and the terrace, in such a way that it promotes the general coexistence of the users of the house in a single space made up of areas with different dynamics.
The exterior lighting highlights the depth of the land and specific elements of the vegetation. On the main façade, the beam of light is projected onto two stone elements, accentuating the shadows generated by their texture, elements that support the balcony of a bedroom in a cantilevered position.
On the upper floor, as part of the optimization of the surfaces, there is a TV room, which provides access to three bedrooms, thus avoiding unnecessary circulation areas. Each room enjoys the integration and warmth of wood thanks to its walk-in closets.
